"We care about how your candle performs — so why not let it perform at its very best?"
Candle Care Tips
To get the longest life, cleanest burn, and richest fragrance from your candle, follow these simple tips:
1. Trim Your Wick Before Each Burn
-
We highly encourage you to keep your wick about ¼ inch long before lighting. ( This Is KEY to a quality burn)
-
This prevents excess soot, mushrooming, and uneven burning.
2. Let the Wax Pool Melt
-
Burn your candle until the melted wax reaches the edges of the jar (about 2–4 hours on the first burn).
-
This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn every time.
3. Burn in 3–4 Hour Intervals MAX
-
Extends the life of your candle and prevents overheating the jar.
4. Keep It Clean
-
If debris (like wick trimmings) falls into the wax, remove it before relighting.
5. Burn in a Wind-Free Space
-
Place your candle where the flame stays steady — away from vents, fans, and open windows.
-
A steady flame means less soot and a more efficient burn.
-
All candles can produce some soot, but quality wax, proper wicks, and where you burn it all make a difference.
6. Safety First
-
Burn on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, and anything flammable.
-
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
-
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
7. Extinguish Gently
-
Use a candle snuffer or dip the wick into the wax to avoid smoke.
-
Never blow out a candle right next to a wall or delicate surface.
8. Know When to Say Goodbye
-
Stop burning when about ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom.
-
This protects the container and prevents heat damage to surfaces.
💡 Pro Tip: Store your candle in a cool, dry place with the lid on when not in use to preserve its fragrance and appearance.
